8.0We enjoyed staying in a historic place with a very beautiful view of the Douro River. Please note that the only way to get there is by car and the most convenient option is to take advantage of the dinner offered. It should be noted that there is an opportunity to taste very good local wine on site.
Great value, beautiful property
8.0Our stay at Quinta da Ermida was overall fantastic. There were 5 of us staying in the 3-bedroom apartment, which was its own house with separate entry and private bathroom for each room. The view was gorgeous of the river and the train, and the property was beautiful to venture and take in the amazing views. We had some issues communicating with the staff as their English was quite limited, but they were friendly and earnest to try and resolve them. Continental breakfast is included but we didn’t try the dinner based on the reviews. Highly recommend the property and the A&D winery nearby for the best service and quality Vino Verde wines and self-guided tour of the vineyard.

8.0Charming estate in very pretty waterfront setting. Hotels.com website had wrong telephone number and wrong coordinates. The link actually had us directed across the river. We were re-directed by hillside residents opposite the site.
Cool building. Skip the restaurant.
6.0Nice old building, great location. Rooms were in a very traditional style which l liked. Food was awful, restaurant has photos online show fine dining. We were the only guests so maybe the chef was off but 20 euros for 2 dry chicken drum sticks with chips and a luke warm cabbage soup was fairly unreasonable.
