Mariam the front staff was really good trying to accomodate us but everytg in the hotel was not helping her

− Arrived at 12 pm for early check in was told to come back at 3 pm..waited till 5.30 pm to finally get the room.was kept waiting 2 hours with no any complimentary drink or even a cofee Bedsheatels in tbe room was stained and called the room service and it took so long for them to replace..was told that washing bedsheets was outsourced ..but is it the hotels responsibility to check if it was clean before placing it on the beds Main cushion was sunken and had back ache seating there Pillow was hard and was not comfortable Will never come back here as it was a disastour

− I waited 3 hours and got checked in at 17.30 pm as they give me reasons that room was being cleaned.What a bullshit.Room was substantial clean and there was no soap ,washing shampoo and ets.poor facility..in booking .com mention has a gymnasium but actually there was no gym and said it was under renovation.

We did not expect the property to be so bad with a 4 star review. We had booked 2 nights but had to leave just in night

A perfect base for exploring Medan with a very warm Sumatran welcome.

We used Medan as our base, travelling out to other areas of Sumatra so stayed at the Travellers Suites on 3 separate occasions. The hotel is well situated, 45 minute drive from the airport (and that takes into account Medan's nightmare traffic!). We had a suite which was perfect for our family of four - two adults and two teenage children. We had three good size rooms which meant everyone had their own space. There were also two showers and toilets, which again is useful when travelling as a family. The lounge area was huge with a small kitchen area (which we didn't use). Our first night there we ate from the room service menu, there was a good choice of food but it is a little on the spicy side for those who don't like hot food. The breakfast, which was included, was excellent - a really good choice of options from local food to omelettes and cereals. What made this hotel, for us, was the staff. Everyone at the hotel was so warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. On our first morning we met the Marketing Manage, Teguh, who introduced himself and gave us his card telling us to contact him if we needed anything. We had an issue with our credit card which meant our final stay was cancelled - a quick WhatsApp to Teguh and he sorted a room for us.

− If I am being picky, in places bits of the room are a bit tired - shower curtains not fitting properly, leaky showers, loose door fittings etc. but that was it, nothing that caused us any issues or spoilt our stay.
