7.0Hotel has been renovated recently. The common areas feel warm and cozy for Alaska. Rooms are a decent size and decorated nicely, but the bathrooms still feel a little dated. They have a great F&B program and a nice little gift shop at the entrance. The staff are nice and helpful.
− There's a lot of street noise and guest activity that can be heard from the rooms.
The stay was fine because we were only in Anchorage for less than 24 hours.
8.0− Our room was fine, but the restaurant on property was disappointing. We went in to have dinner and thought we would just share a pizza and salad. He told us they were out of all pizza's. We asked for a few minutes to find something else. He came back, we asked to share the lasagna and a salad. He then told us they were also out of lasagna and also fish and chips. In the interim we had ordered wine for our dinner which was served, but left after drinking our wine. I feel the waiter should have been up front with us in the beginning of all the things they were out of.
Nice but way too expensive.
