4.0The view was lovely, and the reception staff member who assisted with our check-in was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, our experience at check-out was completely different. We had struggled with no hot water for the entire night, and when we raised the issue, the staff member simply said that after 10:00 pm there was no one available to help. Her attitude made it seem as though this was normal and that we should simply accept it. Having no hot water during a winter stay is unacceptable, particularly when no assistance was available overnight. The way our concern was handled at check-out was disappointing and lacked empathy. Because of this experience, I would not recommend this motel to friends or family travelling to Tasmania.
