Sunday Lunch was super. We were recommended by friends and the food lived up to the recommendation.

We had 2 courses. One beef and one pork roast. Really flavoursome and fresh. Decent portion of meat and veggies and staff were really pleasant and attentive. Maybe a little more attention to placing older couples between young families with babies and young noisier families but otherwise a good visit. We will return.

No kids tonight so we went for dinner. First time indoors, have only had a beer in their garden before. On line booking was easy. Staff very welcoming on our arrival. The menu is good and catered well for my dietary needs. We shared some artisan breads and hummus to start then both had fish. Mine was roasted hake and the OH had catch of the day - sole. It was all cooked really well - and we had room for desert which was beautifully presented. Our waiting staff were attentive and service was good.

Excellent Christmas lunch

Went to The Cliff House for a group Christmas gathering. We were a party of approx 20 people. The traditional Christmas lunch was excellent. Really good quality as I’d expect from The Cliff House. The service was good as well. Bobbie and Anna in particular. I’d also like to mention the manager, Jordan. Nothing is too much trouble.

A fabulous experience

We have just returned home having spent 2 nights at The Cliff House and I cannot recommend this hotel enough, we had a fabulous weekend! My husband and I stayed with our dog Milo. We were in the Biscay room which is on the ground floor with a front door to outside, a nice large room with large ensuite shower, perfect for the dog. The location is excellent for exploring the area, parking is great, a really lovely modern hotel beautifully decorated. The staff were all amazing, super helpful nothing is too much trouble. And the food!!! well just fantastic, we ate here both nights as the menu suited us well, and the food was very very good definitely did not disappoint....wine options and advice from the manager on pairings absolutely spot on. A really wonderful autumn break, so glad we found you Cliff House!!! you really were wonderful. We were also able to dine with our dog. Oh and breakfast....a very chilled / laid back affair...until next time!! As I'm sure we will be back! Thank you Cliff House team xx

Great evening, Good food,lovely staff

My sister took me for a treat and it was a lovely treat. The 3 course set menu I had seared tuna salmon and passion fruit cheesecake delicious and excellent value. The girls who served us were delightful friendly and attentive. We had our 2 dogs with us. We had a perfect evening. Would love to go back maybe stay in the hotel. The waitress recommended The Lighthouse in Milford on Sea which we will try . She told us they're good employers which is nice. No complaints

The place was in a lovely spot. The staff were very friendly/attentive.Rooms were clean and comfortable. A lively/popular spot, especially at weekends.
