− One of the worst hotel experiences of my life – especially for a 5-star hotel This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a hotel, particularly considering that it is supposed to be a 5-star property. I faced many issues during my stay, and I will mention some of them here. I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone. 1. Extremely rude and unacceptable behavior from staff There is a manager named Kamel Erol who treated me very badly. I booked an all-inclusive package, and when I went to the restaurant, I took a plate of fruit to bring to my room. Suddenly, Kamel came to me, took the plate from my hands, and told me that I am not allowed to leave the restaurant with fruit unless I pay €20 every single time. His behavior was extremely rude — he was shouting and speaking in a very aggressive tone. I felt very uncomfortable and shocked. I paid €3600 for one week all-inclusive, and yet I am being asked to pay extra for fruit? This is completely unacceptable. Also, there are 6 restaurants in the hotel, but you still have to pay extra to enter them, which defeats the purpose of “all-inclusive. 2. Serious disturbance and no response from management At around 23:00, while I was sleeping with my wife, someone knocked very loudly and violently on our door twice and then ran away. The intensity of the banging was so strong that it actually damaged and broke part of the electronic door lock system, and I have photo evidence showing the damage caused. My wife woke up terrified. I contacted the reception, but there was no response or action taken. This is extremely unprofessional and raises serious concerns about guest safety. 3. Private pool was not heated The private pool in our room was extremely cold and not heated, and this was not mentioned anywhere on Booking. This is misleading and disappointing. 4. Discrimination during car rental service The hotel offers car rental services.

Die Pools waren groß und sauber. Die Animateuren waren sehr professionell und freundlich. Hotelanlage ist groß. Die Rutschen haben Spaß gemacht.

Lago is a wonderful resort with a beautiful beach and an excellent overall atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Cleanliness is outstanding, especially in the outdoor areas, which are very well maintained. The resort is also very well designed, and the bars for the all-inclusive service are perfectly distributed around the property, making everything convenient and comfortable. Room service is excellent with very rapid responses whenever needed, and the rooms include plenty of complimentary drinks, which is a very nice touch. Although the buffet menus are huge with a wide variety of options, the food quality still remains above expectations. Usually, having more variety means sacrificing quality, but that is definitely not the case here.
