Our wedding at Las Verandas was truly unforgettable, and we could not have chosen a better destination wedding venue in Roatan. Not only was our wedding absolutely incredible, but our family and friends also had an amazing time enjoying everything that the hotel has to offer. We spent lots of time at the gorgeous pool and some of our guests even enjoyed the day at the gold course. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff provided exceptional service. They were all very attentive, welcoming, and even went above and beyond to make everyone feel special. Everything was handled with care and professionalism. By the end of our stay, many of the staff members knew our guests by their first names, which made the experience feel incredibly personal and luxurious. The entire staff made us feel like family. The resort itself is beautiful. The environment is so peaceful and quiet. Our guests and I described the rooms as extremely comfortable, large and most importantly very clean. The bridal suit that I used had a gorgeous view and felt specially handpicked for me. As a bride, I felt completely supported throughout my entire experience. Leading up to our big day, the staff helped us with all of our bookings for our friends and family and ensured me that if I needed anything else they would be there for me. On our wedding day, everyone made it a priority to make sure our experience was elevated. The head chef did an incredible job on our plated dinners. Food and beverage director (Rudy Morales) was extremely attentive. The events coordinator (Wilson Torres) made sure that our wedding ran flawlessly. And a very special thank you to the General Manager, Suyapa Vasquez- Romero. She made sure our experience was tailored to us. She was present everyday that we were there and prioritized making sure that every department involved in our destination wedding was up to the hotel standards. Las Verandas exceeded all of our expectations. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. We made the best decision choosing this hotel for our destination wedding and we HIGHLY recommend it to anyone considering getting married in Roatan, Honduras. My stay here was absolutely wonderful. Clean room , immaculate grounds, and most importantly a very kind staff. They were all great. From the pool, to the restaurant and Ashley from the Beach Club. I must give a HUGE “Thank You “ to two staff members in particular. Kerry & Becky. Unfortunately my luggage never arrived to the island and needless to say I was very bummed out about it. Well, I explained the scenario to both , Kerry & Becky. We laughed about why my luggage never made it (my fault), and also my disappointment with the airport personnel for not being truthful , etc etc. Well , after a wonderful dinner on the Mono Loco, I arrived back to the hotel and received a T-Shirt that Kerry & Becky had custom made writing on. It was a quote from something I said the day before. It may not seem like a big deal to others, however, that absolutely was the icing on the cake as it pertains to the kindness of the staff. Kerry, Becky,….. THANK YOU for your kindness and sharing a good laugh with me. And, thank you for my wonderful T-Shirt.

This is a great resort with very nice staff. The service and food are consistently good and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The villas are perfect for couples traveling together or for families. There is a grocery store close by and quite a few restaurants including a fabulous little wine bar - Wine Not. Make sure to ask what is going on at the resort - there is a daily happy hour from 5-7 and themes on various days. You need a (free) wristband from the front desk to access the beach club next door - that is where the water toys are and they have more things for kids over there. If you have a car, make sure to visit the West End and WestBay areas if you are looking for “touristy” shopping, otherwise everything you need is here in French Harbour area.
