8.0Da man seinen Urlaub ja nicht den ganzen Tag im Zimmer verbringt, war die Unterkunft okay. Zimmer und vorallem Garten sind renovierungsbedürftig - aber nicht schmutzig. Frühstück war auch gut.

8.0Отель рядом с жд станцией. Красивый старинный особняк. Номер хороший, есть и кондиционер и вентилятор. Что касается шума от дороги, то после Москвы это неактуально. Очень вкусные завтраки, персонал делает все для комфортного отдыха. Выдается озерная карта, Пользовались для входа на пляж+скидка на экскурсию на Госсглокнер.

10.0Great little family run bed and breakfast. Nothing fancy. Perfect place to stay while you enjoy the lake and the region. Excellent breakfast. Julia speaks excellent English and was very helpful and friendly. Very quiet at night, some noise from the street in the morning. 5 minute walk to the train station, 10 minute walk to the beach (free access if you stay 3+ nights), 20 minute hike up a hill to a wonderful viewpoint. Various local cafes and restaurants. Nearby Klagenfurt 15 minutes by train was a pleasant surprise with an almost Mediterranean feel combined with Austrian perfection. This region is a hidden gem!

A quiet and friendly hotel with large rooms
10.0We stayed at Residenz Lapeiner for a week as I was competing in the Ironman. Being an athlete, I have specific nutrition needs and so I was provided with a mini fridge in the room. Although the location is a little far from the race start, it is next by the train station of Pörtschach am Wörthersee whose train takes you into the centre of Klagenfurt. My knowledge of German is limited but the owners also speak English and were very helpful whenever I had a question. The Residence is perfectly located to access the lake to swim or do any other activities, within 5 minutes we were at the local Schwimmbad on the lake shore which was FREE thanks to the cards provided to us by the hotel, a nice touch, thank you! It is situated across the road from a delicious patisserie - Wienerroiter - www.wienerroither.com serving amazing cakes and coffee. It's also close to several shops, restaurants and a BILA supermarket. The room was spotless and cleaned without fail every day. The breakfast was very good too with a selection of local cheeses, cured meets, vegetables, fruits, smoothies, yogurts as well as breads and pastries, all very fresh and well presented. Further options are available on demand and cooked on the spot if you wish. A small detail, we're coffee and tea addicts, there wasn't a kettle in the room. The reception is not open 24 hours a day so if you need to make a request you must do so at breakfast time.
