The country side views.The little extras about the property what was available to do there and things available in the area.Plenty of activities to do inside games etc.Liked the camera with pictures from other visitors.Just a relaxing place.Liked visiting the girls ( hens) each day with the scraps and they provided eggs win win situation.

− Husband not great on walking up the ramp but he needs to get fit so he didn’t like it but I did.

Location was great ! Plenty of condiments in the fridge and cupboard. Location on the river, beautiful. Communication was excellent.

This is an absolutely beautiful cottage and in beautiful surroundings, with just a short stroll through the woods to the Barrington River. The hosts have thought of everything, from the fully equipped kitchen kitchen to the comfortable beds, to the two lounge areas with comfortable leather recliners, to the recreation equipment - even a table tennis table! A stroll through the cottage looking at the photos that adorn the walls of almost every room is like taking a guided tour of the history of Gloucester, Barrington and the Gloucester Basin. And being able to have a bath outside in the open air, in complete privacy but with expansive views across to the mountains, was a special treat. Wonderful hosts who, although we didn't get to meet them as they were busy meeting their new grandson in the Blue Mountains, went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Perfect, peaceful and will definitely be back again!

It is such a welcoming, cozy place. It’s very neat and tidy and we absolutely loved how they have kept with that older feel/style, just makes it that much more cozy. All the photos and information in the photo frames around the house was so interesting to look at and read. They were just really accommodating and communicated well. They even set out cups for us for tea and coffee and we just thought it was really kind of them

It was a great get away at this beautiful cottage which affords the absolute privacy and peace and solitude that we all need at times. We love the cosy setting of the house (like being at home), the spacious outdoor setting, the gorgeous garden, the mountain scenery from every angle of property, the outdoor bath/shower, the giant gum tree outside (along with the swings), and the best bit - the convenient access to the beautiful creek... The communication from the owners were exceptional during our stay - they provided daily weather updates, information (and recommendations) re visiting sites and road conditions. It was heart warming. Thank you Rick and Jill, we will be back 😊.
