− The service. I came to the hotel around 12:45 to13:00 looking to check in. I was told that I could not check in without being charged an extra fee, which I did not even inquire about, due to the cleaning crew still working. I was to come back between 15:00 and 21:00, outside of these times there were going to be extra charges. Seriously only 6 hours to check in? I could understand this IF it was during the peak summer season, not the middle of November. I understand the need to try and keep costs lower by cleaning as many rooms close together as possible. Then there was breakfast, or the lack there of. I arrived to the breakfast area around 08:30and found that there were only 4 sausages that looked like they had been there since 06:30 and there was no scrambled eggs left. For the cost of $200 cost this left me disappointed.
I will consider staying there again at some point.
8.0I had left my sandals in my room. After contacting the front desk they were able to locate them and return them to me. I truly appreciate the honestly and effort to have them returned! I also liked the location for how I could leave my car and walk into Southampton.
