10.0The food at this hotel is outstanding. We were extremely well fed and just had the breakfast and dinner option. The hotel in summer is a good base for hiking and cycling. A rental car was a bonus, but you can use public transport to get there (rail then bus).
− Unfortunately a landslide has cut off the supply of natural hot spring water to the village, so the Onsen options are more limited at the moment in the hotel and the public baths are closed. However a 10 min drive up the White Road is all you need to access an outdoor natural hotspring at Chugu Onsen. To bathe in the middle of the tree-lined mountains was out of this world.

10.0Beautiful setting inside the Hakusan Nature Park just along the White Road. Comfortable hotel, very kind and helpful staff, including the lovely birdie robot. Pretty Japanese style room looking onto the forest garden. Hot spring spa right in the hotel with an open air section among stones and trees. Excellent mountain style kaiseki dinner.

− カラオケができることを子供が楽しみにしてましたが、新しくしてないとかで曲がないってのと1時間4000円を超えると言われたので少し残念でした💦

10.0Il soggiorno all’Ichirino Kogen Hotel Roan è stato uno dei momenti più speciali del nostro viaggio in Giappone. Immerso nella natura, questo ryokan offre un’atmosfera tranquilla e autentica, perfetta per staccare completamente dalla frenesia quotidiana. La struttura è curata e accogliente, con camere in stile tradizionale giapponese che rendono l’esperienza ancora più immersiva. Tutto era impeccabilmente pulito e ben organizzato. Uno dei punti forti è stata senza dubbio la cena kaiseki: un vero viaggio nei sapori locali, con piatti presentati in modo raffinato e preparati con ingredienti freschissimi. Un’esperienza culinaria indimenticabile. Abbiamo anche avuto il piacere di provare l’onsen privato, un momento di puro relax e intimità, in un ambiente suggestivo e perfettamente mantenuto. Un’esperienza davvero rigenerante. Il personale è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile, contribuendo a rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole.
