Good location for a break in York
8.0Our one night stay was very good value for money and the cooked breakfast superb.Very friendly host.Not too far to walk into the city centre along the riverside.

6.0Room was very clean and the employees were nice. Breakfast and food served in the pub was average. It's a manageable walk to the centre. It was a little loud and cramped, but this was to be expected booking a small room in a pub. The bathroom could use an update, also, to be expected in an older building. I knocked off points because we said we didn't want housekeeping, but they entered our room anyway. This is a boundary that should be respected.
