6.0We spent four nights at the Kings Arms on a recent trip to visit family. We’ve stayed there previously but, unfortunately, the rooms are looking a little shabby. First off, there was no wifi in the room; the repeater didn’t work. The rooms need a re-fresh: We stayed in the Jurassic suite and the mattresses and pillows were from that era. Also, the room needed a deep clean; the upholstery was badly stained. Despite all this, it’s a lovely place to stay. The cleaning staff were pleasant and helpful. The adjoining pub and breakfasts were great. The place has character but needs some TLC.

8.0Perfect location, friendly welcoming staff. Busy pub location, however very quiet after closing. Lovely wildlife sounds overnight. Breakfast short walk next door to farm shop. Very good.
