A traditional pub, serving good food in an excellent location.
7.0Excellent location, right on the SWCP. Fresh, local fish and samphire. Delicious beetroot salad. Hard-working wait staff.
− We ordered a breakfast tray as per the standard offer both on a sign in the bedroom and as pointed out to us by staff. We had a very early start walking the SWCP - 5am - because of the heatwave so this offer seemed ideal. We were assured the tray would be left outside our door when the restaurant closed for the evening. When we got up next morning, there was no tray. I sent an email detailing this omission before leaving; I have phoned twice; no one has replied. I would have preferred to resolve this issue personally rather than write about it in a review. Poor customer service compounding a problem during our stay.

Great location, comfortable stay, lovely staff.
10.0Excellent location with the beach a stones throw away. The bedrooms were comfortable and a good size. The bathroom was clean. Staff were all fantastic and very welcoming. Breakfast options were delicious.
− Parking can be limited although this didn’t affect us, I imagine it could be trickier in peak season.

− My boyfriend could not fit under the shower Mattress was uncomfortable Dinner at the inn was very disappointing
We only stayed overnight as we were taking part in the Heli Hike 2026 in aid of Devon Air Ambulance.
10.0As we needed to leave before the breakfast would be served they provided everything on a tray, outside our room, so we could help ourselves to breakfast before leaving.
