Wonderfully charming, great service, needs some TLC
6.0This was a very pleasant experience. The standout was definitely the staff – they were just so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely enthusiastic about the hotel. We loved the uniqueness of the building both inside and out – so charming, lovely, and our room was tucked away at the end of the hallway, which made it nice and quiet. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the huge king-size pillows were phenomenal. There are a few areas that could benefit from some attention – our room had a cracked sink in the bathroom, cracked glass in the picture frame on the wall, and the floor is creaked very, very loudly, even just standing on one spot. Our biggest issue was that the room didn’t have a shower. There was a bath with a handheld shower attachment, and you had to sit down in the tub to use it. There was no plug for the bath, so it wasn’t even possible to bathe. Overall, charming, centrally located, clean, tons of character, which could use some TLC and updates to make it perfect.
