Breathless Punta Cana is a great all-inclusive resort! The entertainment daily was top notch in comparison to other resorts we have visited. The service at the pool, restaurants, bars, and casino was amazing. We also loved the food at each restaurant. The entertainment team worked hard and put on amazing shows as well as pool classes, etc.! I would highly recommend this resort!

Hard earned money could be spent elsewhere.

So many disappointing points. 1. I requested a Do Not Disturb sign for the door, since my room did not have one. An hour and a half later, Im laying in bed, sans clothing, taking a nap and housekeeping walks in. I dont speak Spanish and she didnt speak English, so it was a challenge communicating that I needed a sign for the door. 2. I went to the pool at 8am just to relax before it got crowded, and there were a LOT of empty glasses, etc from the night before still scattered all around the pool areas. An employee was cleaning the pool walls at 8 am. 3. Buffet hostess was sort of rude because I didn't know that she needed to seat me before I could go to get a plate at the buffet... she didn't tell me. After I was seated and ordered my coffee, I debated even staying for the breakfast buffet because of the attitude she gave me. I decided to check it out and when I returned to the table with my plate, my table had been cleared and someone else was seated there. 4. I ordered room service for dinner one night and the pizza they sent me was RAW. 5. I was told the shuttle service would pick up my luggage at 9:45AM, so at 9:20 they arrived/called my room to let me know they were there to take my luggage.. I was still packing. 6. Upon trying to check out, the gentleman was seated next to a female employee who was having her phone conversation on speakerphone, so I couldn't really hear what he was asking me. He was on the phone with someone and seemed to be relaying information back and forth between who he was talking to and me, and kept asking me why I rated my stay and the resort so low. When I would try to explain it to him, he didnt seem to really understand what I was saying, so i was getting very frustrated and feeling like I was being Interrogated. 7. One evening while out at one of the restaurants, i witnessed a male guest being completely mean and disrespectful to the female he was with. She was visually shut down from how he was treating her. They both got up and left without ordering. I flagged an employee down and told him what i just witnessed and said that i was concerned for her. I asked if they could find out what room they were in and have someone check on them. He told me they would have no way of knowing what room they were in... but yet anytime you go to the hostess desk to be seated, they ask you your room number? Seems like they just didnt want to get involved. I was offered a certificate to come back and I refuse to come and spend my hard earned money at this "5 star" resort.

Met Juan C and Berny at the outside bar the first night we were there and were so much fun. They remembered us the next night so we kept sitting there every night while we watched the shows. Angelo made sure to keep us all in line 😂🤣 We met Manuel the last night and he was so fun and happy and dancing. Benito in Sofrito and I forget his name but it began with an A (they worked together 7/6) were the best duo ever. A's energy and laughs made our night and for sure our jokes will give him stories to tell. Felix was our life saver keeping us hydrated by the pool. Met Carlos when he asked us to dance before the shows. He was patient and kind while teaching me. He remembered us by the pool the next day. Then showed us how to do more dances before the next show. His constant smile, energy, and overall vibe brought us to the dance floor everynight to dance like we were 21 again 🤩 20/10 would recommend all of them!

I have only been to three other adult-only all inclusive resorts... Secrets Jamaica, Rui Jamaica and one other hyatt In Cancun resort. This is definitely my least favorite. I enjoyed DR, but they allowed too many locals on the beaches to sell you stuff which was not relaxing. The food was meh, esp the late night room-service, drinks were meh; the entertainment was pretty good, but the pools close too early and the night life/bar played too much house music.

My experience at the Breathless Resort and Spa exceeded my expectations in some areas and under performed on other. I will say if you have an issue, the staff quickly resolve them. A great place to get away without the kiddos.. I will go back.
