A lovely boutique hotel
10.0Had a lovely couples stay here for my first visit to Kansas City. Situated along a creek that seems to separate the primary city portion with various chain stores from what appeared to be an expensive neighborhood on the hillside, it was on the edge of town enough that the building and area were very quiet. Check-in was quick and friendly, there was always someone at the door to let us in and other concert-goers, and we found the area to be very walkable. Beautiful room and view! Quiet and comfortable. We had dinner on the top floor one evening, and while the food was just okay, the sun setting behind the neighboring hill made for a spectacular setting.

10.0This hotel is gorgeous. Great location near the streetcar and restaurants, top quality rooms, comfortable, friendly all around, great service. Breakfast both days tastes fantastic. Even though it was just pancakes and bacon, the pancakes were fluffy and the bacon, crispy. Iced coffee was made perfectly. Shout out to Hailey and Jenna (and Henry) for great service on a Monday morning.

10.0My sister and I came to the Fontaine for a sister’s weekend. When we arrived we were greeted by Tashae & Lakota at the front desk and they were amazing. The warm greeting and prompt service let us know immediately we made the right choice when we booked this hotel. Ryan was our valet and he was quick and courteous too. We will make the Fontaine our go to hangout spot when we come back to KC because of this experience!
