Pleasant stay with a local atmosphere

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Icis Villas. The units were clean and comfortable, and overall the property had a welcoming and local feel. Part of this appeal is due to the friendly interactions with Ms Icis Malone, the proprietress, and her son. As the the stay was in February, the night breeze was cool enough to leave off the air-conditioning. I was able to eat some guavas straight off the tree next to our staircase! The property is far enough away from the capital to ensure peaceful surroundings, but for the same reason a rental car is recommended if you plan to move around the island frequently.

Keeping in mind it is only a couple years since Irma, this place could still use a little love. It has all the makings of an amazing location and ambience, but seems to be lacking any real passion to make it great. The staff was ok, and our room and the pool were relatively clean. There are no other real food options close by and we waited too long for a subpar meal, which was way overpriced. We left too early to "enjoy" the complimentary breakfast. We woke up to NO WATER in our room (and most of the property) and a staff that was clueless as to why and what to do about it. The grounds are beautiful and the infrastructure is there to make it better...just needs quite a bit more effort.

Wonderful place that is very isolated and quiet. Just a very short walk to one of the nicest beaches on Tortola. On days when there are no cruise ships it's one of the most peaceful places I've been.

The property was lovely and secluded. It felt like a personal tropical paradise. The property had beautiful mature plantings and a nice pool. On-premise dinner was excellent (remember to reserve your spot ahead of time) and the in-room kitchen was handy for nights you wanted to keep it low key / fend for yourself. The staff was kind and helpful and made us feel welcome. The beach is a quick walk away and has a beach bar for drinks and lunch / snacks. Also loved the resort cats. Having them welcome you back after a trip to the beach made it feel like home.

A very pleasant and relaxing stay in this secluded tropical Paradise. The staff were among the nicest people I've ever met in my life. The plants were gorgeous. Dinner selections are generally just two items but always delicious. For a relaxing, beautiful, secluded getaway I could not more highly recommend.
