10.0Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Ballarat, close to everything. Friendly staff, great breakfast and meal options, and rooms comfortable with so much old world charm. In a world of other new hotels that are grey and square, Craig's Royal is a refreshing change and a pleasure to stay somewhere with true style.
Lovely period hotel in a central location looking a little run down.
7.0The hotel is a fabulously restored period building located in the centre of Ballarat city.
− Unpainted patches in beautifully ornate ceilings, the bed was uncomfortable (the king size mattress sloped from the centre of the bed to the outside) and an earwig was in the shower. No bottled water was in the room.
