Very good

Good
7.0Good location, great breakfast.
− Cleaning needs more attention; cob webs everywhere. Bath/shower is terrible to use, if I were taller then sitting down would be necessary.
Exceptional value, super friendly staff, fabulous breakfast!
9.0Fantastic host, great room, exceptional breakfast - best breakfast menu ever - generous, and home cooked- would have loved the gorgeous looking fruit salad, but was just too full!
− Fittings a bit dated, but hey, who cares!
Gorgeous room with natural light bringing the outside in.
10.0Lovely clean house. Our twin room had its own side entrance with ramps for easy access of suitcases, but also accessible through the house. Had a lovely glassed in verandah bringing in sunlight and warmth with comfortable lounge chairs to relax. A lovely room for a long stay. Coffee machine and cake on a plate. It was a totally sustainable and organic approach, which was great. Good breakfast and friendly staff.
Lovely, comfy guest house.

Hotel trying to be something it's not
1.0Location.
− The owner Mandy was very rude, aggressive, not good customer service, as we paid nearly £400 for two nights stay. The room had tired, faded bedding, blood stained. We asked politely for a fan as there is no air conditioner on the hottest weekend. She said if you want to leave leave. As we didn't have any choice we had to just try put up with it. The fridge wasn't working properly, the tea coffee condiments were stored loose in dirty tins. Mould on the walls which had been painted over. The blind wasn't fitted to the window properly so it let light in. The breakfast was ok the first day, however they served raw salmon on a hot plate when it should have been served on a cold plate. The second day, the toast was completely burnt twice, we asked for a replacement, that came barely toasted - one extreme to another. We kept being asked whether we were going to stay for the second night, she promised to get an air purifier in the room, we came back to a small fan. Too little, too late. The reason I needed air is because I use a Cpap machine and need to keep my airways open. Outside terrace is dirty, basically a place for dogs to have wee and poop. She doesn't have a chef, she does everything herself while trying to juggle check outs, customers are left waiting for their breakfasts. At breakfast on the second day, my partner told the waiter about the room, and service, and she took a stranger to our room without our permission to see the damp and blood. My partner asked her who gave her the permission, she said this is my house, when actually we had paid to use the room and her entering without our knowledge was not right. She said the blood was from outside.?????!!!! There was no hair drier. The shampoo and conditioner bottle wouldn't even clean my eyebrows let alone two people. The hotel is trying to be classy and live up to its price tag but unfortunately, it's a huge disappointment.
