10.0Love the place. Did not expect this high quality experience. The vineyard is part of the lodge. Great dinner (60 Euro per person) and breakfast. Superb wines that could be purchased. Nice quiet village to walk around

10.0A definite must stay if you are visiting the Duoro Valley. It is a small slice of paradise once you enter the red door. Manuel was so kind and helpful. The wine paired dinner (for a cost) was delicious and very informative. Highly recommend you book here.

10.0We were so surprised by what was hiding behind the entrance door to this stay. A non descript metal door opened onto the cutest gravel courtyard and beyond that a lovely vineyard. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We decided last minute to join other guests for dinner and a wine pairing. My gluten free diet was accommodated and the food was amazing. But more so was the experience of touring the historical family home and dining by candlelight. Hearing all about the wine from the owner/wine maker was the cherry on top. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal.
