10.0I got a traditional Ryokan experience with Onsen which is exactly what I was looking for. Having to change shoes to respect every surface elevated the experience. Being solo in a "room" that could accommodate numerous people was luxurious.

Great location and wonderful accommodation.
10.0The traditional "tatami" suite was absolutely lovely, peaceful and serene, and made even better by the futon sleeping arrangement which was surprisingly comfortable. Add to this the private onsen and our three day break was everything we could have wished for.

9.0We really enjoyed our stay at Yamagaso. The staff is kind, the rooms are spacious and very clean; everything was spotless. We also loved the gardens, they are stunning!
