Quaint little rooms in a great location
8.0Bed was lovely and comfy and it was nice and quiet. Room was an ample size and clean. Check in was really easy. The biscuits and croissants in the room were a really nice touch. Location was absolutely perfect for the Bath and West Showground.
− Bathroom was very small and difficult to use toilet with door shut but this is to be expected with the building being a lovely character building. The step down into the room caught us out a few times.

Lovely stay
8.0Excellent location for an event at the showground. Fantastic value for money. Really helpful and friendly communication from the host. Lovely view from the window. Nice selection of tea, coffee and snacks provided and a microwave in the self-catering area.
− Mattresses could do with being replaced - a bit soft and bouncy. And a few more milk sachets for tea would have also been ideal!
For an overnight stay, the room was fine and equipped with all the usual necessities.
7.0The hotel was what I had expected for the price. It was not luxurious but it was equipped with all necessities and the breakfast basket was good. We went to use the coffee machine in the breakfast room but could not use the coffee maker. Clearer instructions would have been helpful.

Very basic
3.0It was clean. Instructions for entry were good. Nice view.
− Very small room with musky smell. Not enough room for bedside tables. Very few plug sockets and not easily accessible. Breakfast very poor, 2 croissants, jam, Nutella, biscuits and a packet of noodles! There is a kitchen area downstairs for self catering but we didn't use it as only stayed for one night.
Disappointing, profile on booking.com is not accurate
5.0It was clean. Owner provided a fan quickly when we asked for one
− This is advertised as rooms in an Inn. Pictures show front door of pub open and lights on. There was no such thing. Pub was shut, seemingly permanently, therefore nowhere on site to get a meal. Would not have booked this if it had been clear that it was not a functioning pub, just very basic rooms.
