The evening reception staff.

− The day time reception staff, too busy on their phone, to serve the customer. Difficult to pass the end of the bed, to open/close curtains or access the doors, to the small balcony. Even when I got past the end of the bed, the door would not open and I had to go past it, open it and squeeze through the gap. The hotel is old and tired. The bathroom shows signs of cheap wood swelling and obvious previous leaks. Although there is a lift from the reception area, to get there is a long flight of stairs and you have to ask for the reception to assist with the stair lift. Although this is close to La Rambla, its a side street and it doesn't feel safe. Its full of homeless people, begging for money, cigarettes and food. Not the area you would expect, after paying €500 for 2 nights. It was a complete waste of money.

− L’emplacement de l’hôtel, juste en face du poste de police, le rend particulièrement bruyant. Le petit-déjeuner remplit tout juste sa fonction, sans aucune ambition. Le choix est très limité et se résume au strict minimum. C’est correct, mais sans le moindre intérêt. Quant au service en chambre, il est pour ainsi dire inexistant. Après la première nuit, les draps ont simplement été rabattus à la va-vite, sans que le lit soit véritablement refait. Après la deuxième nuit, personne n’est même passé dans la chambre. Aucun entretien, aucun service. En soirée, l’eau chaude est à peine tiède. Et pour couronner le tout, le troisième matin, plus une goutte d’eau chaude. Absolument rien. Une accumulation de négligences difficilement acceptable pour un établissement hôtelier.

The breakfast was great, the room was clean, good bed, quit.

− The location of the hotel, we didn’t feel safe, hade to take a taxi inbyte evening because we were afraid to walk home.

Nice stay in the center of Barcelona, worth to try it.

The room was good size, clean. The staff was excellent. They made us great breakfast, kudos to the woman there. Also they cleaned the room every day. Hotel is very centrally, although El Raval is kind of interesting place to be. Late at night be cautious.

− There is plenty of room to put more coat/towel hangers in the room. I felt like there were too few of those.
