10.0The staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived, ensuring that we had a place to park, knew the shortest way to bring our luggage up to our room, and had access to ice and complimentary snacks as well as information about good local dining options. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of selections for a small establishment, and everything was nicely cooked. The inn is an historic house, and it was interesting and fun to read the information posted throughout the house about the women associated with it and their involvement in the Battle of Gettysburg. Lovely antique furnishings add to the charm of the inn, while there are still plenty of modern amenities (comfortable mattress, well-designed en-suite bathroom, etc.).
− Potential guests need to be aware that the inn's status as a protected historic property means that it cannot be rendered fully accessible; there is no elevator, and most rooms are located up a narrow flight of stairs.

8.0Room was very cozy. Staff was great at explaining all details of our stay. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.
− The only thing is you cant control the temperature in your room. It was a little warm which made it difficult to fall asleep.
Highly recommend a charming and historically located Gettysburg era home.
9.0Fabulous location. Charmingly decorated period home, with many many personal touches. Very nice manager and breakfast cook. Extremely comfortable bed. the dining room offered hot water, drinks, refrigerator, snacks that were easily accessible all night. Fresh flowers in the room and on the table. Much attention to detail. A humble breakfast of scrambled eggs with fresh berries was lovingly prepared and more than ample.
− a couple of outlets weren't working so I was moving my chargeables around the room a bit and then settled on one working plug on my side of the bed.
