2.0bed was comfortable, I have muscular problems in my back but bed was good , I didn't have any discomfort
− first night we were their we found the reverse cycle air-conditioning , although set at 30 degrees did not actually produce very little heat. So next morning having complained, we were shown a cleaner room with a different air con , however it too was not heating properly it also did not heat the room, so on the third morning we left.
Nice cozy stay!

− Front door jamming. Very bad phone connection when trying to call and book
Won’t be booking here again. Needs a fair bit of work to bring it up to an acceptable standard
5.0Proximity to town Bed was comfy enough
− Bathroom ceiling had mould. Shower base and bathroom wall had water damage. Bathroom sink mixer tap was very stiff and difficult to use. Checked in just after 4pm. No one was at the property. Had to call and ask for someone to attend.
Very unpleasant experience
1.0Location was very good but see my next comments
− When we arrived we had to wait for ten minutes before a staff member arrived to open up reception. We then found out that they did not have a room available for us despite me showing them an email and a message from Bookings.Com that we had a reservation for 4/7/26. Fortunately they were able to put us up at a nearby motel so disaster was averted but we were extremely unimpressed. So, apart from confirming that the location is excellent, we cannot tell you anything else about the Kookaburra Lodge other than that it seems be badly run by staff. Was also a waste of our precious time in Halls Gap.
