Great hosts, but keep in mind if it is summer time there is No AC and limited ventilation.
7.0The room and shared bathrooms were very clean. There are several bathroom so there was never an issue with having to wait. The breakfast was nice, not a large offering but I would say sufficient. Quite area with a little street noise with people walking by but not a big deal.
− Listen, we knew there was No AC in advance. What we didn't know was it was going to be above 90 both days during our visit. I won't lie here it was pretty tough dealing with the heat. We in the US are used to having AC so hanging around the room say for afternoon nap which I like to do wasn't possible. It was just way too hot. That wasn't these folks' fault but if considering a stay here during the summer it is something to consider. In the fall or spring I bet it would be fantastic place to stay. We loved Lucerne. In fact it was possibly our favorite place we visited over our two weeks in Europe. So, would I stay here again? In hot weather, maybe not, otherwise YES I would. If not for this issue I would have rated it much higher.
