Extremely poor, disgusting dirty and smelly. Will not stay here again.
1.0− The dirtiest hostel I have ever stayed at - as soon as I showed up I felt uncomfortable about staying there. Unfortunately many of the people staying there seemed to have issues. From arguments with reception staff, to private, confidential conversations about a court case in the men’s showers. There was so much drama and troubled people. Level 3 smelt like tobacco, and with the room I was staying in. Bed sheets were totally worn out and in need of replacement. The showers on level 3 looked like they had not been maintained in weeks. There was slime and mould around the shower, and the shower curtain was disgusting. It smelt like BO throughout the whole place Around the men’s sink was full of mould and grime. Totally gross and extremely unhygienic, this definitely hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. For ~$80/night + $10 for parking it’s a total rip off. Yes, it might be the cheapest place to stay in Kelowna but it’s certainly not value for money. For the poor level of comfort and overall guest experience it is totally not worth this sum of money. I will never stay here again, and instead camp nearby or Airbnb.
First Time in Canadian Hostel
7.0Location and quiet inside. Nice patio area and large kitchen. Lots of vending machine snacks. The lounge area was also modern and relaxing.
− I know it was shared dorms, but the floor was dirty and the walls were unkept. Need larger pillows on the beds and the showers were very grungy. Air conditioner worked but took all day to cool off.
