Pelican Cottages Key Largo
10.0We stayed in room 210 that was right on the beach. It was the biggest room on the resort with 2 room with queen beds and a Murphy bed in the living room. It had a full kitchen as well. The place is absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The feel is definitely a beach cottage vacation rental. It’s not perfect but we loved it and would take this place over a fancy hotel anytime. It really was like we had our own place on the beach. The beach is a “shared” beach with the other guests of the resort but it was never too busy at all. We used the kayaks a couple times and saw manatees and even a nerf shark. The girls at the front desk were extremely accommodating and friendly. We had one issue with a guest upstairs once and they took care of it immediately. We made friends with the local iguana outside our room that lives on the beach and had him around the entire time with no issues. It’s a great place to snorkel and fish as well which we did. We really can’t say enough about this place. We will definitely be back next year.
