Bedbugs alert, and aggressive staff too

− When we did a bedbugs check, right after arriving, we found a very recognizable bedbug exuvia (in the photo). We showed them, and they offered us a new room. However we know bedbugs are usually not limited to 1 room, so we didn't feel very comfortable staying in the place, so we went back to the reception, calmly thanked them for the new room, and we said that we were gonna leave anyway and asked if we could get a refund. This Is where the big issue starts: a woman came out, and started attacking us aggressively (keep in mind we were very calm). She screamed at us saying that whichever room they would give us we would find a problem with It, because we Just didn't want to stay there (which Is not true, why would we book It if we didn't want to). After that, She Attacked us saying they have done so much for us, including changing the dates and checking us in one day later (we arrived One day late). This Is true, they tried to help us, but in a very normal way honestly, they had availability for different dates, and we didn't pay any less for checking in the day after so why holding It against us. Anyway, what did It have to do with bedbugs? We didn't know what to Say, we genuinely only wanted to be safe from bedbugs. She then said, and I quote, that "all places in Ao Nang have bedbugs" and that "we wouldn't find anything better anyway", and tried to rip the keys of the room off my hands. Then She added that they're very cheap, which again okay, but I would rather pay more and not have a bedbug issue. Also, in June which Is low season, there were multiple places nicer and cheaper in the surroundings, and we know It because we had to look for another accomodation in the rain, after of course getting no refund.

Hervorragende Lage. Äußerst freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter und alle sonstigen Mitarbeiter. Auch bei den Tagesausflügen bestens beraten zum günstigen Preis. Sauberkeit sehr gut. Housekeeping hervorragend. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Sowohl für kurzen als auch längeren Aufenthalt sehr gut geeignet. 7/11 und Mother-Marche in unmittelbarer Nähe. Strand 2 bis 3 Minuten zu erreichen. Geschäfte, Massageläden jeder Art, Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Trotzdem abends und nachts nicht laut. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. :-))

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The balcony was nice to have even though it faced the wall of the adjacent building. What really stood out here was the staff. They were always so accommodating. They said hello and goodnight with a smile every time we passed by reception, and gave us umbrellas (without being asked) when it was raining. Free beach towels too. Min, who worked the tour desk at reception, was especially kind to us, and was a pleasure to briefly chat with every day. She helped us book a 7-island tour and later transport to Koh Yao Noi. She held umbrellas over our heads as we caught a taxi after checking out. Thank you Min for making our stay so nice!
