Great location but not 5 stars.
5.0Location and scenery are stunning. Bed was super comfortable. Good amenities. Has a relaxing vibe. Beautiful water. Gym was large and had 2 Pilates beds. Boat transfer was smooth and luxurious.
− Resort is run down and tired. Lots of maintenance required especially at the big pool. Our bath was rusted and outdoor shower needed maintenance. Many kids at resort as they do “kids eat free”. Resort is promoted as a nice place for couples but there are no adult only areas. Waited way too long to be seated at bam bam and amici. Unacceptable. Gym needs attention with broken equipment. Not allowed to use Hayman lounge at airport on departure, but left at the airport way too early yet you can’t check in before 3pm at hotel either. Needs to be earlier if you have check out at 10am. There is a language barrier with staff, every drink order was incorrect.

There is no airport on Hayman Island. Guests arrive via Hamilton Island and then connect with a boat transfer service, to and from Hayman Island. The journey takes around 60 minutes. The transfer rate is AUD $265 return per adult, and AUD $135 return per child (ages 5–11).
Guests travelling via Hamilton Island are subject to a passenger fee of AUD$ 30.60 per adult and AUD$ 15.38 per child (up to 12 years old). This fee is set by Hamilton Island and is payable in addition to your accommodation.
