7.0Friendly and welcoming staff. Great location near Victoria Station. Comfortable bed and shower was good. Breakfast wasn't included with my booking but I was able to order this on arrival
− The only mirror was in the bathroom, would have been good to have one in the room itself. The toilet roll holder had almost come out of the wall so needs fixing. Room was fine for me as a solo traveller
Great location and staff; noisy, tiny room with complicated access up many steep steps.
7.0TOP points for the location and the lovely Spanish receptionist. Free tea and coffee were also excellent and the breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty.
− The rooms, or at least our room (16) was minuscule: impossible to open the cupboard and the bathroom door at the same time; you could only walk around the bed sideways. Our biggest two problems: the room was under the eaves, which meant that my 73-yr old husband had to heave our two suitcases up 51 steep, narrow, carpeted stairs. VERY difficult. We also had the toilet running constantly (plumbing issue) and since we were under the roof, the nearby water tank made constant noise. A side note: In my opinion, it's a shame to furnish lovely old Georgian buildings like these with cheap furniture and industrial carpeting. This could be a bijou hotel if you knocked down a few partitions and furnished the rooms properly.

9.0The staff were really lovely - very accommodating, flexible and friendly. The area is superbly located. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay there.
