6.0Large room but floor looked like it needed eeplacing as it was uneven and uncomfortable walking on it bare footed. One of the chairs had a bent foot. The room was clean except for a couple of small stains on the bedsheet. There were stirrers instead of teaspoons and a couple of the milks were off. The bed was very comfortable untill you ised the pillows. My husband said his extremely thin pillows were solid and ended up sleeping with a hoodie under pillow to make it comfortable. My pillows were softer but not only thin but lumpy. We both woke with headaches. The room was clean and a bery good size. My welcome and check in was almost perfect. Friendly andwelcoming plus the car permit. It says on a sign to close doors quietly but it was impossible especially the one to the room it was so stiff. Overall it was alright but the room could do with a little attention.

8.0Nice hotel for short stay, one of the better ones in Eastbourne. Rooms are tidy and clean, nothing is falling apart like some of the nearby hotels. Convenient parking on the sea front and fairly sized single rooms.
