Good stay for the price... Bit weird
6.0Overall experience was mixed. Upon arriving I was greeted by a friendly owner/manager who took me upto my room, passing the enormous fishtank (🤔) and gave me a quick layout of the place. Leaving me to it I was given the choice of when I wanted my breakfast the next morning which was good 👍 Unfortunately from there on in, the experience deteriorated... There was food and a bottle of coke (see photos) left from the previous occupant, no toiletries were provided for a shower, bed and floorboards were extremely creaky and when the room next door turned in bed it shook my own bed. I expected noise from the pub downstairs but didn't expect it to be exactly as loud as it was. Biscuits provided were out of date by the time I finished my 3 night trip and the best thing about the traditional breakfast was the toast and cereal beforehand. Accommodation providers were friendly and location was pretty good however shame the rest let it down.
