We were given exceptional service by the landlord & good quality meals throughout our stay.
9.0breakfast was well presented and many options given. Including porridge/granola/friut options & cooked breakfast was one of the best I’d had. Very delicious. Smashed avacado & poached eggs were cooked to perfection.. well done to all the staff involved.
Lovely stay in a country pub, exceptional host and delicious breakfast.

9.0Beautiful location, amazing food- excellent quality, delicious, good portion sizes. Had breakfasts and evening meals- all was exceptional. Staff were great, helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable, toiletries good quality. Building is very old, lived the quirkiness
− Dated decor in room- could do with an update Fan on wall outside going all night (quite noticeable) very hot weather, so a quiet fan in the room would have been good. Shower hit and miss with temperature.
It was a short but very enjoyable stay.
9.0The breakfast was generous and delicious. In particular, the service was exceptional - very friendly and attentive.
− just one small issue - when using the toilet in my bedroom, the toilet seat wouldn't stay up!! This can easily be overcome with a replacement seat.
We may be able to offer an earlier check-in from 1pm to 3pm. Please note the pub is then closed from 3pm to 5:45pm. Earlier check in time cannot be guaranteed.
