10.0This accommodation is just perfect. The beach across the road and the town walking distance away. The breakfast is great, catering for all diets. The rooms are spotless and the staff are brilliant. I would recommend the Cumberland to all.

Great seafront hotel, best location
8.0I had a lovely stay at the Cumberland Hotel. Mike, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive—everything was thoughtfully arranged, from the plentiful extra towels to the little surprises like sweet treats, drinkable bottled water, and even a pair of binoculars in the drawer! The breakfast was delicious and well-prepared, and the hot shower was just what I needed after a long day. The only downsides were things outside the hotel's control. There was some road noise between 10:00 and midnight due to the busy seafront location, and the beds could have been more comfortable. Still, these were minor issues compared to the overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming stay with great attention to detail.
