8.0Room was TINY. Bathroom was good. Nice hot shower (once we learned how to operate it). Beds were ok. A bit hard and worn. Restaurants was good. Wait staff was excellent. No heat in the room that we could find but the hallway was very warm. We propped open our door and the room warmed up. Lighting on the outside of the building is poor. Luckily I had a small flashlight. Lots of walls etc Painted black so hard to see at night. Not far is a grocery store and Greggs (donuts and hand sandwiches). This hotel is a long ride to Edinburgh by taxi.

8.0Staff were excellent, Livingston is a modern town with fantastic shopping facilities. Noisy doors were a negative and it the hotel was a bit rowdy on Friday evening
