9.0The location, quality, comfort and style of the hotel was everything you could want for a country pub/hotel in the Yorkshire dales. Staff were lovely.
− I know we were out of the main holiday season but the only slight quibble was having to go to the neighbouring hotel (literally 100m across the green,) for breakfast. Whilst this was not a huge issue as the weather was great but first thing in the morning having to get coated up would have been more of a pain if it had rained. I knew we would need to eat at the Lister arms for a later evening meal but I do not recall seeing that breakfast would be there clearly explained on the booking. We would stay again, even with breakfast across the village, but just be aware and check when you book if it might bother you.
