9.0The room was clean, as were the bed linens. Each guest had two soft and comfortable pillows. The hotel’s location is excellent. Breakfast was good and offered a wide variety of choices. The only downside was during the weekend, when breakfast was served in the banquet hall. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience because guests left tables, chairs, and the floor in a mess, while the staff could not keep up with cleaning. The biggest disappointment, however, was the reception staff. When I asked how to get to the airport, they were unable to provide any useful information. They showed neither practical knowledge of the city nor any willingness to find out and help a hotel guest. Another issue involved the laundry room. The machine charged me twice for detergent, and then the washing machine would not start. A receptionist came and managed to get it working, but I had to pay again. When I asked for a refund of the extra amount I had been charged, I was told that the issue had to be reported to the third-party company responsible for the laundry machines. What shocked me the most was that I was asked for my credit card, and the staff took photos of both the front and back of the card, including the CVV security code. They intended to send these photos to a third-party company. I find this completely unacceptable and a serious security risk. I refused to allow this, and the copies were destroyed. In my opinion, the reception staff need much better training, both in customer service and in basic payment card security. I would, however, like to praise the housekeeping staff, who were far more competent and helpful. At times, I honestly felt that the hotel would provide better service if the housekeeping staff worked at the reception desk and the receptionists were assigned to housekeeping instead.

Perfect when visiting Suwon
8.0In the center of Suwon and quite near a subway station, this hotel is an excellent choice when you want to explore Suwon or just want to get away from touristy Seoul. Lots of restaurants around. Convenience store and a starbucks are located on the ground floor. Breakfast was good and offered lots of choices.
