Oleskelu hotellissa vastasi hyvin tarpeitamme.
8.0Aamiainen oli hyvä. Itse tosin kaipaan aamiaisilla salaattia, mutta se ei näytä kuuluvan amerikkalaiseen kulttuuriin. Kaurapuuroakin, mitä arvostan, oli useana aamuna. Pieni miinus oli, että tuorehedelmät olivat loppuneet jo aamiasajan puoleen väliin mennessä. Olisi kiva, jos kaikkea olisi saatavana koko aamiasajan, mikä on kuitenkin arkisin suhteellisen lyhyt, klo 7-9.
− Hotellin aulaan kertyi pikkuhiljaa yhä enemmän halloween-koristeita. Tämä tapahtuma luurankoineen ja pääkalloineen herättää ristiriitaisia ajatuksia ja tunteita. Itselleni se näyttäytyy kuoleman, ei elämän tapahtumana. Toivoisin, että hotelli, joka haluaa palvella kaikkia, olisi tässä suhteessa neutraali ja laittaisi esille vain sitä, mikä sopii kaikille.
