Quiet stay in Cappadocia

We stayed two nights at the Ramada by Wyndham in Cappadocia. We had a nice room on the first floor with a king size bed which was comfortable. The bathroom was dated but there was plenty of storage. Our windows were located above the employee break tent. Thankfully, we did not smell smoke in the room and could close the windows when employees were taking their breaks. The dining area downstairs had a hot bar, cold deli bar, and salad bar. Drinks were extra when dining. Coffee and tea in the morning was included. The food was so-so. Nothing to write home about but we were able to find things we wanted to eat. At this point, we had been less than impressed by the hotels we've been booked on the tour however, we made the most of it by walking into town to explore. Our hotel was kind of in the middle of nowhere but it was close to a small town center where we found some interesting stores. Our balloon flight in Cappadocia had been canceled due to high winds so we stuck with the tour group to explore the Open Air Churches, local Carpet Weaving shops, jewelry store, and ceramic shops.

Not great. Avoid it if you have a choice.

We stayed here as part of tour group. It was our least favorite hotel on the tour. It was clean but that was about the only good thing we could say about it. The food was meh and the service not great. The most basic of requests (a fork?) were challenging. If you have a choice, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

If you have other options, take them.

Stayed here as part of an organized tour. Hotel was billed as 5* but would be a basic motel in the USA. Rooms were clean, but small. No air conditioning so windows need to be opened but only one of our windows did not have a screen. There was no body wash In the shower and while we expected it to be filled after first night, it wasn’t. Beds were comfortable. The restaurant was marginal at best. If you wanted eggs for breakfast, your choices were scrambled with sausage or hard boiled (hard boiled was the better option). Ended up eating rolls with cheese for two mornings. For dinner, the meatballs (on rice) were good, but our group found everything else mediocre at best. The first night we ate off-property and just had deserts, which were pretty good. However, next night even the deserts were not great. Flatware was hard to find and we had to “steal” it from the tables reserved for the drivers and guides.

Beautiful location very large groups

We came here in a tour and the hotel is designed for very large groups with massive buffets that are passable. The location is great with a morning view of the balloons and outstanding cappadoccia. Has a nice terrace to sit and watch the sunset. Rooms were basic but ok

Ramada never again

Bad hotel. Dora not reserve the five State qualification . Should be a 3 or maximum 4 stars hotel. Elevators don’t work. Food is bad . Pior diversification. At dinner and at breakfast. Breakfast fruit only apples. Tabels unclean. In the rooms you have all the exteriore noises. Realy bad

The staff were generally helpful and supportive throughout the stay, always ready to guide us when needed. In particular, the Front Office Manager, Mr. Doğan, provided immediate and effective solutions to all of my inquiries. His local recommendations also greatly enriched our experience in the area.
