7.0Location was Great
− Basement room very noisy due to reception being above and laundry next door
Basic accommodation. A little tired, but clean. its real value is in its location.
6.0Fantastic location for one night stopover ahead of Eurostar. Comfortable beds. Great to have TV in room as it was really wet so we stayed in and watched films. Nice to have Tea/coffee facilities. Staff gave us extra milk sachets too. Everyone friendly and helpful.
− Beds would have benefited from mattress protectors and fitted sheets. Curtains coming off rails made room seem a little tatty but all in all it was acceptable. Expensive for a fairly basic hotel but we recognise that it’s value is in its location.
Atrocious, worst hotel ever been too and we had to leave almost immediately
1.0Nothing.
− Everything. Smelly, dirty, like walking into a building site, the basement Garden Room overlooked a courtyard full of building supplies and the huge curtains meant no natural light without looking at building site,, no PowerPoints working, dirty towels - so bad we couldn’t stay
Room in unbelievably poor condition
5.0The staff is friendly, hotel next door where reception is seems to be in good condition, good to have towels in the room.
− The condition of the room is poor: the bathroom is small, difficult to adjust temperature of shower, the room smell damp, four out of the six down lights were broken, two out of three light switches were not working, hair dryer looks dirty and can’t be used, table suffers from damp damage. The hotel next door seems to be in good condition, but this building is rundown, corridor is covered under construction and with a hover blocking the corridor. Never book this garden room when it is raining! I would request a refund if possible.
Good location and good value but electric going off was a pain. Couldn’t charge phone and needed to catch a train in mor
5.0Great location and value for money
− Electric in the room went off twice during our stay
