9.0I received a warm welcome when i arrived. It was easy to find with good parking opposite. I enjoyed a good meal that night in a very convivial atmosphere.
− I am recovering from knee surgery and I would have appreciated a hold rail for support if using the shower.

A really good village pub with a good atmosphere. Welcoming bar staff and locals. The bedrooms just need a few tweaks.
7.0Lovely traditional English thatched pub. Great choice of beer and gin. Wine a bit limited. Good pub food from a small menu. Great lady behind the bar that also served the food. Nice sunny back garden and at the front you could sit and watch the sun set. Good comfy bed and good bedding. Nice size bedroom and bathroom.
− Very stuffy bedroom with no opening windows. This made for an uncomfortable night as it was quite warm. Hot water took ages to come through and was not great pressure.
Excellent room with delicious breakfast far better than most b and b. I would recommend it wholeheartedly
