− Power only stayed on for a few minutes after leaving room and no cross breeze to cool room overnight.

− Parking was awful- it seemed that preference was given to buses and trucks. Car parking is too far from the room. Cutlery was lacking, didn’t like the coffee mugs. Was little more than a motel room- the fridge was completely inadequate for our needs

− Not very clean, no hair dryer and the washing machine is dirty that we decided not to use.
Avoid staying at the Spinifex if you can!
3.0Good location, and room size was good.
− The light on the walkway outside the room was not working, so we needed a torch to enter our room even in daylight. Power to the room was only made by putting the one key card we were provided with into the reader. On arrival therefore, the room was oppressively hot before the air con could start working. The fridge was off and ice inside the freezer of the fridge thawed and leaked all over the floor which we had to clean up when we opened up the fridge. If we left the room, the power went off again as we needed the key card to re enter the room - no air con and fridge off again. The facilities were described as having a kitchenette but there was only one large saucepan to cook with - no frypan etc. The TV was faulty and there was a large line through the screen on every channel. The globes in the lamps were broken and needed replacing. The outlook from the room to the side area was overgrown and depressing. We felt like we were in a detention centre!
