4.0Very unhappy that on arrival at about 6pm reception was closed. Lady in chip shop next door was not pleased that once again she had to act as receptionist for the "hotel" and directed us to a note on the door with a phone number to ring. Had we not had a mobile phone we'd have had to sleep in the car! In the end we got hold of somebody and was directed to a key box. Then had to wade through a 1" puddle in a car port to access the stairs to the room. Advertised on Expedia as with a sea view. Actual view was of a car park. So on entry to the room we were already in a bad mood. Actually once in not a bad space for a Country hotel room, clean with basic self catering facilities but would rate the visit with a big zero because of the initial impression. Looked like much better options in Port Campbell. It's NOT a hotel whatever Expedia says. No food option, no facilities, no staff until check out, just a self catering bed space. Very expensive for what it was.
