8.0If you have realistic expectations of a cheaper hotel in Hong Kong you will be happy. Yes the rooms are small, for one person its fine, for 2 it will be cosy. The shower is a shower head on the wall of the small bathroom but its fine. The hot water works well. The staff are polite and friendly. The fit out was more modern than I expected for the price. I stayed for a week and was upgraded to a bigger room after a couple of days. The location is great.from the street you would be unsure as its a rough looking lift to get up to the levels the hotel is on. You are 2 minutes from the mtr, kowloon park and accross the road from world class dumplings. The lineup for them is very long on weekends. Heaps of food options at your door step. Its also only a stroll from the waterfront for the light show. If traveling solo on a budget I would recommend it.

4.0The rooms are cramped with barely any room for two people to move around or to keep luggage and belongings. Only an electric jug is provided without any tea or coffee bags. The stairways are dirty, unsafe with chipped flooring and haven't been cleaned or maintained properly. The elevator lift was in a dilapidated state and was out of service on our 2nd day. We had to use stairways to the 6th floor. We felt that there was no value for money for the amount that we paid.
