Lovely stay, charming place and excellent hotel restaurant

Nice hotel and super friendly staff. A lovely place to sit and have a drink outside. The room was spacious and lovely. THe hotel restaurant across the street was very good, maybe a bit pricy to go with two picky teens :-), but the quality was excellent.

La chambre était spacieuse et agréable. Nous avons également apprécié d’être logés dans les étages, ce qui atténuait le bruit de la rue. Avec les fortes chaleurs, nous étions obligés de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes, c’était donc un vrai plus. Le personnel, lorsqu’il était présent, s’est montré très souriant et serviable. Nous avons notamment demandé s’il était possible de conserver un produit au réfrigérateur puis au congélateur, et cela a été accepté avec beaucoup de gentillesse. À notre arrivée, une bouteille d’eau nous attendait dans la chambre. Tout au long du séjour, des bouteilles d’eau fraîches et des boissons sans alcool étaient mises gratuitement à disposition dans le lobby, ce qui est particulièrement appréciable pendant les fortes chaleurs. Des bonbons, des cacahuètes et des bretzels étaient également proposés gratuitement, une attention très sympathique Les bretzels du petit déjeuner étaient bons

− Surprise a l’arrivée le dimanche a 17h , Il n’y avait personne pour nous accueillir et nous n’avions reçu aucun e-mail nous expliquant la procédure. Nous avons davantage eu l’impression d’arriver dans un Airbnb que dans un hôtel. Un simple message avant notre arrivée aurait permis d’éviter cette mauvaise première impression. Le personnel n’est présent que de 11 h à 21 h en semaine ce qui peut être contraignant en cas de besoin en dehors de ces horaires. Le ventilateur mis à disposition dans la chambre était extrêmement bruyant, au point d’être presque impossible à utiliser pour dormir. Aucun ménage n’a été effectué pendant les trois jours de notre séjour. Je comprends parfaitement la démarche consistant à ne pas remplacer les serviettes chaque jour pour des raisons écologiques. En revanche, ne pas refaire le lit ni ramasser les poubelles me paraît difficilement justifiable et cela n’aurait pourtant qu’un impact très limité sur l’environnement. La plus grosse déception reste le petit-déjeuner. Dès l’arrivée, une vidéo diffusée dans l’ascenseur met en avant l’école de cuisine de l’établissement. On s’attend donc naturellement à découvrir un petit aperçu de ce savoir-faire, mais ce n’est malheureusement pas le cas. On est loin des photos qui présentait des comptoirs, plein de pain et de bonnes choses à déguster. Comptoirs à pain vide les trous jours .. Le buffet est très basique, avec peu de choix et peu de saveurs. Côté sucré, il n’y a pratiquement que de la confiture, quelques mini-viennoiseries industrielles, deux yaourts avec quelques toppings, des pommes et des fruits en boîte. Aucun gâteau, biscuit ou spécialité locale n’est proposé. C’est d’autant plus dommage que, même avec des ingrédients simples, il est tout à fait possible de réaliser un petit-déjeuner gourmand lorsqu’on sait cuisiner. Seul produits locaux les jus de coing et pomme . Les œufs brouillés sont préparés à l’avance, et son donc durs.
