The staff was excellent

− The beds are old and lumpy. There's tweekers everywhere. Our toilet flooded and got all over my baby's things. The pics that are on booking is the nicer motel 6 across the street. The walls and sheets had dog hair all over them and there is a guy there that just blows smoke out of his hotel room door into my face as I walking by. The ac doesn't work and the fridge/freezer barely keeps things cold

I've been staying here on and off for months. This place has been amazing. The staff is great for the most part. The only problem I have and the reason I can't give full stars is because of an issue they chose to ignore. I am staying here for 2 weeks and on the 2nd day I was here, a mother and her five kids were put above us. It would have been fine a little extra noise and what not I can deal. But boy was I wrong. For the proceeding four days those kids were left unattended outside where they found a shopping cart and proceeded to run it in to our wall for hours. Then when we complained about the noise they said they would call her and nothing would happen. The kids would go upstairs and proceeded to scream in the room and pound on the floor. It would last till 2 sometimes 3 am. I work early mornings and needed sleep.We called and called and were told we weren't the only ones complaining. Yet when management went to talk to them they did nothing. Didn't move them to a lower level, didn't remove them. The only option would have been to call the police and they couldn't do anything because management didnt do anything. I received no apology, no compensation, and not even a we could change you to a different room. Mind you I paid extra to stay in that room because it has a refrigerator and microwave. I got too bad suck it up. If it was just me having a problem that would have been one thing and I would have found a way to get over it. But I wasn't the only one with an issue and even when I went in face to face to talk to the front desk the other customer who wasn't even involved said that she was even annoyed by them. I felt like there should have been some kind of penalty but nothing happened. This was so disappointing considering how great this place usually is. I hope next time this happens to someone they take it more seriously and they do something. I am a level headed person but I am at my breaking point and this whole situation should have been handled better.
