This is a trap house not a hotel

2.0

Horrible experience for starters the front desk worker and her boyfriend are selling drugs in the parking lot there are sex workers and the place is absolutely disgusting the walls are all discolored and there where roaches everywhere it's disgusting and in general it is not a safe place to be and there are people all through the parking lot all night looking for things to steal out of peoples cars and they have cameras up but they are more for decor than anything the only cameras that work in the whole building is by the front desk I would never stay here again and this place needs to just be shut down or completely redone with new management this place was not just uncomfortable it was unsafe they should really just rename it the trap house because that's all this place is I didn't even feel safe walking from my vehicle to my room because people where looking in our vehicle as we where unloading our baggage

Motel 666

2.0

Motel 666 (Formerly Known as Motel 6) ⭐☆☆☆☆ (If I could give zero stars, I would) I stayed at Motel 6 Tallahassee Downtown on Appalachian Parkway during my daughter’s graduation weekend, and this was hands down the worst hotel experience of my life. Let me start with the insanity: I paid nearly $500 for ONE night. I understand it’s graduation weekend and prices go up—but this wasn’t just expensive, it was outright price gouging for a property that shouldn’t even be operating in its current condition. I knew booking a Motel 6 meant lowering expectations. I did not expect to walk into what felt like a crime scene. I was assigned Room 123. The second I walked in, I knew something was very wrong. There appeared to be a bullet hole in the floor. The smoke detector had its sensors covered with electrical tape. There was toilet paper stuffed into holes in the walls. The room smelled like hard drugs—not marijuana, I’m talking about actual drug drugs—and the smell was so strong it got into my clothes, including the suit I planned to wear to my daughter’s graduation. The bathroom was falling apart. The shower was in terrible condition. The floors had sticky spots all over. The entire room felt unsafe, unsanitary, and completely neglected. Now here’s the only positive in this entire experience: the graveyard shift front desk employee. I went down and asked to switch rooms, and he handled it professionally. I even brought him up to the room, and he was visibly shocked they had put anyone in there. He apologized, treated me with respect, and got me into another room. That second room was still bad—but at least it wasn’t whatever Room 123 was supposed to be. That employee deserves credit. Management does not. This is not about being a budget hotel—this is about basic human standards. Charging $500 a night for a room in that condition is outrageous. Graduation weekend is supposed to be about celebrating your child. Instead, I was dealing with a situation that honestly felt like something out of a horror movie. This place shouldn’t be called Motel 6—it should be called Motel 666, because only the devil could justify charging those prices for those conditions. Do yourself a favor: stay anywhere else. Sleep in your car if you have to—you’ll probably be safer, cleaner, and come out $500 richer RC

Not 1 thing!

Everything!!! The room had mold in the shower ceiling and it smelled awful😡 the floors were nasty and the hotel was like a party zone! People were outside in front of my room at 4 am and we had to ask them to move on and we're trying to sleep. It was the most nastiest thing I've ever seen and needs to be shut down! I had a 5 night stay and left after the 1st night took the lost and went to another hotel that was cheaper nicer and not to mention very clean! They get a 💯
