Beautiful hotel and night shift employee was wonderful

At check in they young man was beyond helpful and made a bad night so much better, got me checked in quickly and put my mind at ease, the hotel is beautiful, rooms very clean, I felt safe, and very comfortable here. Breakfast had a great selection and I honestly could have extended my stay had there been respectful guest above my room.

− They room I stayed in had guest above me that apparently had children that were allowed to run and jump stomping and screaming from 7:30 at night until 10 pm, and while I understand kids being cooped up in a hotel room there should also be some consideration bothering parents (and hotel staff) for other paying guest. This went on the entire time I was there, I asked multiple times and different staff if anything could be done and each time was told they'd go up and see what was going on, and the last time being told their quiet time didn't start until 10 pm, so apparently its ok to be inconsiderate and plain rude to other guest so long as its done before "quiet time" if not for these guest the stay would have been wonderful

Handicap room was on spot for my wheelchair just needed a few more grab bars in bathrooms for my liking.

− That they closed the pool earlier than what I consider dark. It was light out at least 30 more minutes and wasn't allowed to use pool

My stay was peaceful, I felt safe and the property is very secured

Comfortable, Clean Room in a Central Area

Room was big and clean. The "living" area and the bedroom area were separated by a wall which was nice because we had 4 kids with us, so they were able to watch TV in the living room and the adults could watch TV in the bedroom. Hotel is kind of pushed back from the road which is nice so you're not hearing traffic, but it's still central to lots of different food options. Also only about a 10 minute drive from the military base in Jacksonville if you're there to visit anyone on base.

− The bedroom area was pretty snug. Not much room to really walk around the beds. We had a pull out couch but there were no sheets in the closet to set it up. We also were not told that there was obviously an AC problem in the living room area, as there was a portable AC unit in the room, but our AC unit in the bedroom area did work. The room was not insufferably hot but there was a difference in temp between the two rooms for sure.
